Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final | Schedule
It is not only the awe-striking heights of 1.6 m of the arena's obstacles that make this event one of the most-watched equestrian competitions in the world. The technical aspect of the course has the rider considering each angle and turn. Each approach and every step is carefully calculated, with the take-off meticulously controlled – all this at a speed reaching 50 km/h.
The adrenaline soars while we watch these incredible athlete duos battle it out, but it is the grace and elegance woven into the technical brilliance that makes jumping competition one of the most emotional sports to watch live.

Originating back to ancient Greece around 400 BC, dressage is the epitome of partnership and ultimate communication between the horse and rider. In more recent history, the concept of producing obedient, supple, and responsive horses was led by the military – the better schooled the horse, the better the cavalry would fare in battle. This style of riding then extended among the nobility to 'show off' their magnificent rides with exaggerated movements, clearly demonstrating their ability as horsemen. And so, 'dressage' was born.
Dressage riders are technicians in search of perfection, and their ultimate goal is to present you with a horse that is calm, supple, loose, and flexible. They aim to achieve a horse that is confident, attentive, and keen, thus achieving perfect understanding with the athlete.
