Special attention has been paid to stabling areas during the FEI World Cup™ test event back in February 2023 ensuring the welfare of the four-legged athletes comes first. Each of the quarantine areas has its own range of facilities. The spacious boxes and expansive walkways are fully air-conditioned and only a few minutes walk from the indoor arenas.
The two warm-up arenas, each measuring 60x30 meters, are fully air-conditioned and were included in the footing testing during the 2023 FEI World Cup™ test event executed by the partnering footing specialists (Martin Collins) as well as the FEI technical crew.
The organizers have already engaged footing specialist Martin Collins for the February 2023 Test Event. He will also provide the ground for the FEI World Cup™ Finals 2024. FEI Footing Expert Oliver Hoberg and Prof. Las Röpstorff will be constantly monitoring the condition of the footing to ensure that it meets the highest standards over the 5 days of the event.
The course is generously designed and has a size of 85 x 40 meters.
The horses will be transported to Riyadh under the supervision of the renowned company Peden Bloodstock. The company, already drawing on an extensive experience of shipping top competition horses to Saudia Arabia and around the world, will ensure a smooth transit for the equine athletes.
